AOPMC Travel Grants

MDS offers Travel Grants and waived registration fees in partial support of delegates in financial need to facilitate their travel to and participation in the AOPMC.

About Travel Grant Awards

MDS may award a limited number of Travel Grant Awards in partial support of delegates in financial need to facilitate their travel to and participation in the Asian and Oceanian Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Congress. Travel Grant recipients will also receive complimentary AOPMC registration. 
 

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must be the first author on at least one submitted abstract, and complete the official Travel Grant application incorporated into the abstract submission process.

Only one (1) Travel Grant application per candidate will be considered for the AOPMC. If an individual submits multiple Travel Grant applications, only the abstract receiving the highest cumulative score will be reviewed by the AOPMC Scientific Program Committee Chairs.

Qualified applicants are not required to be a current MDS Member; however current Members do receive additional points on their cumulative application score.

The sole means of application is within the abstract submission system. Please do not apply for a Travel Grant unless you are prepared to travel to the AOPMC to present your research.

You will not be able to apply for a Travel Grant after your abstract submission is confirmed.
